Write in मराठी using English

Dhingana...Treasure difficult to find

While searching on the web for a resources of Marathi songs, i got attention to a link in one of the posts.... http://www.dhingana.com . Thank God I clicked it!! otherwise I would have missed a good collection of Marathi songs and other bollywood stuff. One should give a look at Dhingana to understand the efforts the Dhingana team has put in creation of the site. Dhingana is yet another site for 'online' streaming of Indian and Bollywood music without spending a penny from your pocket. They started well, keeping the user interface as simple as possible and still giving variety of options at one shot. The site is categorized into Movies, old songs, remixes, pop, ghazals, bhajans and Marathi. Its not difficult for user to select what he wants. They got their own web player almost platform independent (Requires a flash to work), playlists or smartlists as they call which can be shared and posted on a blogs and sites, good collection of songs which they are updating quite frequently. Thing which is not in favor of Dhingana is the listing of the site in major search engines. I tried "Marathi Songs", "Marathi Music", even tried "Indian & Bollywood music" which is part of their title but none of them listed Dhingana on first page. Dhingana team need to work on this to reach people much faster and make progress in their creation. Advertising in the middle takes your attention, though they are meant for that, it is still irritating for the user surfing the site. You will come to know more about Dhingana at their site. They also maintained a blog which will inform you various happenings at Dhingana. In all, Dhingana team did a good job in creation of site but still they need to improve on their listing in search results otherwise for the unknown world it will be still "a Treasure ...Difficult to find".
